A History of Making People Comfortable.
Our company's history is cut, nailed, glued and sewn into every product we create. This legacy began in 1928, when a craftsman by the name of Jacob Popkin founded Berkline in Springfield, Massachusetts. His goal was to create comfortable, quality furniture at a fair price. In 1937, he expanded the company to Morristown, Tennessee, and that's been our home and headquarters ever since.

Today, Berkline is part of a family of furniture brands that includes BenchCraft, a major manufacturer of fashionable, comfortable upholstery and casegoods, and Natural Elements, a leading line of elegant island-inspired furnishings for the entire house.
