Dynamo Air Hockey Tables
Fast tables get played more often. The biggest thrill and excitement of table hockey is the speed of the game. Many tables suffer from "snail-paced" anemia of the puck.... when the puck loses momentum, or even gets stuck in the middle of the table. Just ask any serious player--they all prefer our hockey tables over any other manufacturer. Why? Speed. The Blower: We've developed our exclusive "Dyna-Blast Blower" which generates a gale-force blast that keeps the puck moving at speeds of up to 81 miles per hour. Our blowers generate a constant 36 pounds of pressure per inch per second. Other tables are lucky to generate 25 pounds. The Holes: To accommodate the increased wind force, the holes on the playing surface of our tables are precisely drilled a microscopic 1/500ths of an inch bigger than normal tables. Even though the increased size is invisible to the eye, the cumulative effect of 2,444 bigger holes is dramatic to the players.
Dynamo's Tables Are Faster, Require Less Maintenance, and Last Longer.
The Playing Surface: We use impact resistant Formica table tops instead of stainless steel... and for a good reason. They won't dent. If you're operating a stainless steel-top table, and a player just drops the mallet on the table, even lightly, it's going to leave a dent in your table. Dents tend to misdirect the airflow out of the holes and make the air cushion unstable. The result? The puck flies off the table. Flawless Performance: You may have heard false information about Formica tops--that they will crack under heavy playing conditions. Our service department reports less than one incident of cracking for every 1,700 tables sold... you won't have to worry about the playing surface on a Dynamo table. But you can bet that nearly 100% of steel top tables will dent within 2 weeks to 4 months of purchase. Which would you rather have?
Maintenance-Free & Cheat-Proof.
No Micro Switch Means NO JAMMING: Every hockey table on the market--except Dynamo's--uses a micro switch with a wire to keep score. When the puck Hits the wire as it passes over the switch, a score is registered. The problem comes when the micro switch wire gets bent or worn out... causing the puck to get jammed... or causing scores to not register properly. A jammed puck can take anywhere from a few seconds to several hours to dislodge. And once the puck starts jamming, it won't quit until you replace the micro switch. Score-Optics: No More Jams: Our tables use an infrared optic system, like a TV's remote control, to detect when a puck passes through the goal. The optic system has no moving parts, so it never jams, and it's always 100% accurate. Cheaters and Thieves Hate Dynamo Hockey! Our coin entry systems employ the same magnetic read switches of the most high-tech security systems... they are impossible to "jam" for a free play. With traditional coin mechanisms, anybody who's been around can jostle and jimmy the coin entry in just the right way... until the micro switch registers a free play. In other words, the machine thinks that quarters have been inserted. It is estimated that 1 out of every 7 games played on other tables is a "Free" game. On Dynamo tables, the number is ZERO.
