Home vs. Commercial Pinball Machines

Home pinball machines are designed for casual to enthusiast play and typically fit comfortably in a game room, basement, or entertainment space. Commercial machines are built for higher traffic and more intensive use, with heavier-duty components suited for bars, arcades, and venues.

Factors to Consider Before Buying

• Who will play it? Families and casual players may prefer a fan-favorite licensed theme. Enthusiasts and collectors often look for Limited Edition builds with deeper gameplay.
• New or used? All machines in our inventory are brand new from authorized manufacturers.
• Theme preference: From Marvel and Jaws to Dungeons & Dragons and Godzilla, licensed themes drive strong engagement and replayability.

Budget and Space Considerations

• Budget: Pro editions start around $7,000, Premium editions around $9,700, and Limited Editions can exceed $13,000.
• Space: Most full-size pinball machines measure approximately 23″ wide x 52″ deep. Allow extra clearance for player movement and service access.

Popular Features

• Multiball: One of the most iconic pinball features — multiple balls in play simultaneously with jackpot scoring opportunities.
• LCD Display: Modern machines from Stern feature full HD LCD screens with animated video and franchise-accurate footage.
• Ball Lock & Modes: Activating ball locks triggers special play modes tied to the machine’s theme.
• Licensed Soundtracks: Premium and Limited Edition machines include original music, voice acting, and film audio from their respective franchises.
• RGB Lighting: Full-cabinet LED lighting creates an immersive, dynamic visual experience during gameplay.
