
David joined Greater Southern Distributing in 1998 after working for a year in sales at AMA Distributing in New Orleans, LA. When Greater Southern Distributing moved from it’s Atlanta location to Smyrna, GA in 2001, David played an integral part in expanding the business into retail and home recreation. David served as general manager of Greater Southern Home Recreation from 2001-2015 and now serves as president. David proudly represents the 4th generation in this family owned and operated business. David has BA in Political Science from Tulane University and an MBA from Georgia State University.
Steve joined Greater Southern in 2006 when Greater Southern acquired Atlantic Billiard Corp, where he served as general manager. He started in the industry in 1988 as an installer for Peachstate Billiards, the Southeast’s premier billiards retailer at that time, to learn the industry from the ground up. In less than a year, Steve worked his way up to Sales Manager, and a year later, Operations Manager. Steve has served on advisory boards for many of the industry’s leading manufacturers, including Brunswick Billiards, Legacy Billiards, Plank and Hide and McDermott Cues.
In 2019, Jeff brought 35+ years of retail experience to Greater Southern Home Recreation. He specializes in delivering a personalized customer experience. Jeff was owner/operator of a two location, family-owned business in Pennsylvania. He continued his career by joining a growing, national organization as a Store Manager, specializing in sales, training and outstanding customer service. Jeff transitioned to the role of District Manager within the organization.
JD joined Greater Southern Home Recreation in October of 2020.
Chris Jurnack joined Greater Southern Home Recreation is 2002, and has over 20 years of experience in the home recreation/billiards industry. Prior to joining Greater Southern, Chris was General Manager of Peachtree Billiards & Home Recreation in Norcross, GA. He began as warehouse manager learning in’s and out’s of high-end billiard industry, but quickly rose to the leading sales associate in less than six months. After two years, he became general manager for the main store and two satellite locations. Duties included personal sales management and training, inventory management, store planning, advertising, servicing products, community events / public relations, and employee relations. At the time, Peach State was also the industry leader, setting innovative standards for low pressure, personal sales techniques and operations that were adopted and still seen used in the industry today. Chris has an MBA in marketing from GA State University.
