Steel Tip Darts: Steel tip darts are used with bristle dartboards and have a sharp steel point. These darts are heavier than soft tip darts and can have up to five parts that can be adjusted and replaced to suit the needs of the player.
Soft Tip Darts: Soft tip darts are lighter darts that are usually used with electronic boards. They have a flexible plastic tip instead of a heavy steel one, so they are more appropriate for family games.
Dartboards: Bristle boards made of sisal are generally the highest quality boards and will last the longest, because the holes made by the darts close up after the dart is removed. Electronic boards are also available; these boards are covered with thousands of tiny holes, and the score is automatically recorded when a dart enters a hole. Because most electronic dartboards are used with soft tip darts, these are ideal for family games.
Dartboard Cabinets: Dartboard cabinets are a great way to keep your dart supplies organized, and when you are not playing, they can be an attractive piece of furniture that adds to the look of a game room. Most will fit a standard bristle board, but depending on the dartboard you buy, you should still check to make sure that your cabinet will fit it just to be on the safe side.
Flights: Flights are the fin-shaped pieces on the rear of the dart. They provide drag to balance out the dart and prevent wobbling, helping it throw smoothly. In general, a heavier dart will need a larger flight.
We will be hosting dart tournaments in the future, so make sure you check our site for dates!
